I just got back from a girls trip, and I am already thinking about what I’d pack again. Whether you’re planning your own girls trip packing list or just love a good roundup of tried-and-true travel favorites, these are the pieces that earned their spot in my suitcase and proved it the whole trip long.
Some of these are the kind of things you don’t think twice about until you’re standing in the airport wishing you’d packed them, and others are just pure joy to travel with. Here’s everything I’d throw in my bag again without a second thought.
FOLDABLE SUN HAT
My foldable, easy-to-pack sun hat is fantastic. It squishes down small enough to tuck into any corner of your bag, so there’s really no excuse not to bring it.
PERFECT MOM SWIMSUIT
I was so glad I packed the perfect mom swimsuit. It’s cute without making you look older, and it is so, so flattering. If you’ve been on the hunt for a suit that checks both boxes, this is the one.
BLUETOOTH EARBUDS
I’ve had the same wonderful Bluetooth earbuds for two to three years now, and they still hold up. Since I was traveling alone this trip, they came in clutch for listening to podcasts while I waited through three different delayed flights. They’re comfortable in my ears and hold their charge for a really long time, which matters so much when you’re stuck at a gate.

The Summer Fridays gloss paired with the Supergoop is my lip gloss power couple. The Supergoop is so great for when you’re out in the sun or hanging poolside, since it has 30 SPF built in, and I really love a gloss with sun protection.
I love the Summer Fridays tinted gloss because it doesn’t dry out my lips. I love my tinted Supergoop gloss the most, but I currently can’t find it. Good news is they do make a tinted version, so keep an eye out.

I drink BetterDays BetterHormones literally every single morning of my life because it’s completely changed my periods for the better. It comes in a stick version that’s so easy to mix with water when you’re on vacation or on the go.
RUTI TRAVEL PANTS
I consider the Ruti On the Loose Work Pants to be the number one travel pants in all the land, and I stand by that. They outperform every deal on the internet, and in my opinion, they’re worth every penny.
QUINCE BRAIDED ITALIAN LEATHER BAG

I literally got stopped in the airport for the braided Italian leather bag from Quince. A woman asked if it was the Quince bag, and when I told her it was two years old, she couldn’t believe it. It still looks brand new. The quality holds up so well, and I’ve been traveling with it for two years now. Hands down the best of the best.
GOLA SNEAKERS
I have a few different colors of the Gola sneakers I’m obsessed with. They are the most comfortable travel shoes, they go with everything, and they come in a million cute colors.
KOPARI SHIMMER SUNSCREEN
I forgot to snap a picture with the Kopari shimmer sunscreen, but it is my current obsession. It gives you the perfect glow that makes you feel beautiful while still giving great sun coverage.
ANTHROPOLOGIE SOMERSET MAXI DRESS

Last but certainly not least, I was so happy I packed my flowy dress from Anthropologie. It has the perfect flowiness for really hot weather, and it’s one of those dresses that’s universally flattering on so many different body types.

I really value my friendships, and the older I get, the more I realize how much I need them in my life and how many blessings they’ve brought me. Having a community and a tribe of people I can talk to about literally anything is everything. What you put in is what you get out, and it’s so hard to schedule a girls trip, or even a girls dinner, when our lives are busy. But it is worth it to make it happen. I never feel mad that I took the time to do it. You create your own sunshine, and making time for the people you love is something you will never regret.
