Why Subtle Barrel Jeans Are the Perfect Mom Jean

I really think that subtle barrel jeans might just be the PERFECT mom jean we’ve all been waiting for. Hear me out on this! 

I’m not talking about the super exaggerated barrel silhouette – I’m talking about a just right shape that’s flattering without being over the top. When you find a pair with the perfect amount of barrel, it honestly feels slimming (and who doesn’t want some slimming without stepping into the gym?)!

And can we talk about versatility for a second? Subtle barrel jeans are such great denim because they go with pretty much every type of shoe – boots, flats, sneakers and sandals! I wear mine with basically all of my footwear. And because of that, they’re the denim you’ll have in your closet you will reach for again and again no matter the season. Low price point: You know I love Walmart, and this brand is one of my go-tos. These barrel jeans are super affordable, have a nice medium stretch, and they come in a few color options. They’re the perfect subtle barrel jean if you are wanting to dip your toes into the barrel trend without committing too much from your wallet. Pro tip: If you’re between sizes, size down! 

Mid price point: These are some of my very favorite jeans I own! I have them in the black and medium wash, and wear them constantly. They don’t have a ton of stretch, but they don’t need it because the fit and quality is perfection. I recently went on a trip for a week and took only two pairs of jeans. These jeans were one of them and I had no regrets! They are that good. Great quality, great shape, wearability all year long, and under $80 – what more could you ask for?!

High price point: You CANNOT go wrong with Mother jeans. I recently bought these on our girls’ trip and got asked about them three different times while in the dressing room. I’m telling you, they are so dang cute. The grey wash is perfect (and yes, they come in other washes if gray isn’t your thing), the fit is so flattering, and the vibe is effortless, yet chic. These definitely have a splurge price point but are worth every single penny.
