I’m 36 years old and in those 36 years, I’ve tried HUNDREDS of different jeans. Cheap ones, expensive ones, trendy ones and must-have ones. If I consider myself an expert at anything, it’s finding really good jeans! And here’s the truth: these four pairs of jeans are the ones I just keep coming back to. They’re the ones I pack for trips, the ones I wear for mom-life and ones I want in every wash.
If you want jeans that actually earn their spot in your closet, start here.
Paige Jeans: The quality and stretch on these beauties is fantastic. They are a 10/10 in my book and they go with EVERYTHING. And when I say everything, I mean you can dress them up with a blazer and some nice jewelry, or dress them down with sneakers and a sweater and they still look classic and you look put together. They are not the cheapest jeans you’ll buy, but they are absolutely worth every penny! These are the kind of jeans that quietly elevate your entire closet.
Mother Jeans: You CANNOT go wrong with Mother jeans. I recently bought these on a girls’ trip and got asked about them three different times while in the dressing room. That alone tells you everything you need to know.
The grey wash is perfection, though they also come in other washes if that’s more your thing. If I were to use one word to describe the fit of these jeans it would be magical. They have that loose, effortless, yet chic vibe we are going for.
They are fashionably smart, comfortable and the exact feel I want day to day. I don’t say this lightly: they’re 25/10 and so worth it.

Levi’s Jeans: These are hands down my most talked about straight leg jeans and went viral for a reason. They’re stretchy without losing their shape (you can wear them more than once without washing) they make our bums look great, they nail that classic mom jean fit without feeling grumpy and ill fitted, and they can be styled in so many different ways! They are my errands jeans. My “throw on and go” jeans. The jeans I grab when I want to feel comfortable but still look like I put in some effort. I wear them at least once a week and if you could see how many jeans I have, that’s saying a lot.
Colette Jeans: If you’ve heard me talk about wide-leg jeans before, these are probably the ones. I’m convinced they are the real life Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. They look good on everyone! This pair of denim is so comfortable, with a fit and quality that is unmatched. The cherry on top is they come in different lengths AND they have multiple washes (yep, I own them all). I wear them year-round – with sandals, sneakers, boots – you name it! These jeans work in every season and I never get tired of them. I have yet to meet someone who doesn’t love these pants. And before you gawk at the price, I want to remind you that my cost per wear is down to pennies at this point.
The bottom line is, trends come and go, but a good pair of jeans are forever. If you’re sick of buying denim that looks good once and then disappoints you every other time, these four pairs are worth your attention. Get yourself a pair of jeans you will feel confident in and want to wear. Every woman deserves that!
